Why this course works
Research shows that the BEST way to learn vocabulary is by being exposed multiple times in different ways to the same vocabulary. Learning idioms through lists doesn’t work for this reason.
That’s why I created the 7x S.P.E.A.K. Method and why I use this method to teach vocabulary.
Throughout the challenge, you’ll get 6-7 times of repeated exposure and practice for all of the vocabulary, ensuring that you’ll be able to remember them and use them confidently.
What is the 7x S.P.E.A.K. Method?
This is my step-by-step system that helps you learn vocabulary the way your brain actually remembers language- through repeated exposure and real-life use. Each new expression is reinforced 7 different times so thatt finally sticks.
S- Story exposure: you first meet the new vocabulary in a story with real life context
P- Predict from context: use the context in the story to predict the meanings
E- Explanation + Examples: get a lesson with clear definitions, pronunciation and examples
A- Apply through practice: do practice activities that help you apply (use) the vocabulary correctly
K- Kickstart real use: complete community interactions and challenges to use the idioms
